Recruitment & Retention Committee

Purpose:


To assist the school in growing and maintaining its recruitment and retention efforts not only on a yearly basis, but also in developing and implementing ideas that will sustain the school in the future.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • To assist the Director of Admissions and Marketing in the planning and implementation of many year round recruitment activities including Neighborhood Information Nights, Open House, and 7th Grade Information Night.

 

  • To assist the Director of Admissions and Marketing by speaking with prospective Mount Michael families at events including Open House and Information Nights or by making personal calls.

 

  • To assist the Director of Admissions and Marketing by communicating to him/her issues that affect retention.

 

  • To assist the Director of Admissions and Marketing by developing methods for handling those issues that are adversely affecting retention.

 

  • To continue to develop stronger ties between surrounding parishes and Mount Michael School.

 

  • To continue to develop ways to improve the awareness of Mount Michael School and its programs in the community.

 

  • To recommend to the full Board policies pertaining to recruiting, marketing, retention and even public relations as it relates to the school and its representation in the community.

 

  • To report to the Board at each meeting.
