CLASS RETREAT PROGRAMS:  Fr. Gregory Congote

 

Our Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will have their retreat at the Pro-Sanctity Center from approximately 8 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

 

Seniors will have their retreat at Girls & Boys Town ROPES Program. Volunteers are needed to provide and serve lunch for the students on the below dates:

 

  SENIORS: Friday, September 9, 2011 (Ropes Program @ Boys Town)

 

  JUNIORS:  Friday, September 23, 2011 @ Pro-Sanctity

 

  SOPHOMORES:  Friday, September 30, 2011 @ Pro-Sanctity

 

  FRESHMEN:  Friday, October 7, 2011 @ Pro-Sanctity

 

General Chair for each class:   Plan food and contact volunteers for the day.

 

Volunteers:  Help provide lunch for the students.

 


 

HOMECOMING DANCE:  Mr. Matt Luettel                             

DATE:  September 24 – 8:00-11:00

 

General Chair:  Assist the Student Council with the plans for the evening.  Coordinate the decorations, assist with the activities and provide refreshments and snacks.

 

Volunteers:Decorate the Armory, assist with activities, provide refreshments and snacks and chaperone the evening.

 


 

GRANDPARENT’S NIGHT:  Mrs. Mary Ann Maier              

DATE:  WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2011

 

General Chair:  Coordinate volunteers, decorations and refreshments for the evening.

 

Volunteers: Decorate the Armory, gym entrance etc.   Provide snacks, setup the food and clean up afterwards.

 


 

HALLOWEEN PARTY AND DANCE:  Mr. Matt Luettel

OPEN HOUSE/ADMISSIONS/RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE:  Mr. Eric Crawford

Volunteers:  Are available to visit with prospective students and parents during our Open House.

 

Assist Mr. Crawford with creative ways to spread the message about Mount Michael Residential and Day Program; assist in recruitment activities throughout the year

 


 

CHRISTMAS SOCIAL for Juniors and Seniors:  Mr. Tim Struckman

DATE:  WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2011

 

General Chair:  Organize volunteers to decorate the Armory for Christmas prior to the event. Provide snacks and refreshments and assist Student Council with activities.

 

Volunteers: Help decorate the Armory prior to the event, assist with the activities,

provide snacks and refreshments and chaperone the evening.

General Chair: Assist the Dean and Junior Student Council Officers with planning the evening and provide snacks.  Organize volunteers for decorating and supervision of the Prom.

 

Volunteers: Decorate the Prom location during the day and chaperone the dance.

INVOLVES TWO DAY:

SATURDAY MORNING:  Set-up, decorate and food preparation.

SUNDAY MORNING:       Work the buffet after graduation and clean up.

 

General Chair:  Coordinate two days of volunteers.  Organize the decorations and work with kitchen director to plan the menu and buffet.

 

Volunteers:  Setup tables and decorate, prepare buffet trays for Sunday.  Take down decorations and tables and clean up afterwards.

 


 

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE:  Mrs. Tracy Kenney   NEW THIS YEAR!

 

This committee will provide meals for Mount Michael Families who are experiencing unexpected, stressful, and challenging situations.

 

General Chair:  Coordinate meals/delivery for families that request our assistance.

Volunteers:  Prepare and deliver a meal.
